The Room

Acoustically treated, lovingly appointed, and tuned for effortless tracking and accurate mixing — our room is not just a pretty space! Extensively baffled 8.5-foot ceiling, hand-made solid-wood panel and skyline diffusers, bass traps and wall absorbers, an irregular (non-rectangular) shape, and hard surfaces of various densities all contribute to a unique workspace that’s both funky and functional.

When some extra ambience and beautiful dimension is in order, we rely on the amazing Bricasti M7 reverberation processor for the particular magic it can bring.

The Instruments

We play a wide range of instruments, each selected for its unique voicing and function: antique Italian, French, German, and American violins, five-string violin, viola, octave violin, and cello…

…and, should your production benefit from some extra flavor: various acoustic and electric guitars, u-bass, mandolin, piano, Moog analog synthesizer, vintage Gretsch and Ludwig drums, and myriad noisemakers of the percussive persuasion.
